Every year, Americans visit Palestine to help harvest olives and build connections to the people defending their homes from the Israeli Occupying Forces (IOF).

On Friday, November 13 at 4 PM PST / 6 PM CST, a delegation of activists from Austin, fresh off a three week stint volunteering in the West Bank, will share their experiences in a live Zoom presentation, hosted by DSA San Diego and Austin DSA.

So often, Americans experience the horror of Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians as shocking images and video posted on social media and curated by algorithms. Seeing it firsthand is a completely different experience—both more extreme and more nuanced.

This event is an opportunity to connect with comrades who have had that experience.

As San Diego anti-Zionists prepare to protest the Jewish National Fund’s illegal sale of Palestinian land, come learn about the lives of the people who Zionists are trying to ethnically cleanse from their homeland.
